We rent a local taxi in Urubamba, to drive trough the Sacred Valley of Peru, for a day. One of the places we visit where these ancient Inca salt panes. They are more then 500 year old and still mined by local families. The super salty water flows in thousands of shallow pools, where it evaporates. Leaving behind the Peruvian pink salt.
